- 2 / 5By Ed OI am vegetarian and don't have anything against anyone's right to eat meat. But I do have something against Companies who use trucks that pollute excessively. I have encountered a Gianelli Sausage truck (from N. Syracuse) passing through Seneca Falls two times. Each time I could smell it from about a mile away. Once I caught up to it I could see the smog surrounding this delivery truck and could barely breath in my car. Backed off about 1/4 mile and the smell was still unbearable. Every time the truck stopped and started moving again, it was engulfed in a cloud of smoke. So maybe they make good sausages, but if they have been operating since 1946, you think they could afford a new, less polluting delivery truck or fix the problem. Eat what you will, but don't pollute the air we all breath.September 23, 2016
